What Voice Recorder does

Voice Recorder captures microphone audio in the browser with a level meter, pause and resume, and optional trim before save.

Play back the take, then keep the native recording or convert to WAV or MP3 locally.

How to use it

  1. Refresh devices and pick a microphone.
  2. Start recording. Watch the level meter. Pause or resume as needed.
  3. Stop, play back, set trim start/end if you want, choose a format, Prepare download.

Formats and limits

  • Records with the browser MediaRecorder (usually WebM/Opus).
  • Exports native, WAV, or MP3.

Why do I need to allow the microphone?
