Drag the start and end handles on the thumbnail timeline. Preview loops only the selection. Fast mode copies streams (keyframe cuts); exact mode re-encodes H.264 and AAC.
You can also drop a file here.
Video Cutter keeps one continuous section of a video and saves it as a new, shorter file. You mark the section on a thumbnail timeline, preview only that range, and export with either a fast stream copy or an exact re-encode.
It opens one clip at a time and never alters the original. Everything outside the two handles is left out of the saved copy.
Your browser draws the preview and thumbnails locally. Cutting uses an FFmpeg engine the tab loads the first time you cut. The video is never uploaded, and the trimmed copy goes straight from memory to your device.
Stream copy can only cut on keyframes. Use Exact mode when you need the handles to match more closely.
Not in one step. Save the part before and the part after as two files, then join them later with a joiner tool when that is available.
Browsers with a save picker let you choose a folder and name. Others download it to your default downloads location.
All processing runs locally in your browser. This tool is provided as-is without warranty. Keep backups of your original files before processing.
