What Video Frame Grabber does

Video Frame Grabber saves still images from a video at full resolution. Scrub or step through frames, then download PNG, JPG, or WEBP.

You can also grab a frame every N seconds and download them as a zip. Capture uses the browser canvas, not ffmpeg.

How to use it

  1. Select Choose video. The preview and scrubber appear.
  2. Drag Scrub or use Prev frame and Next frame (about 1/30 second steps).
  3. Pick PNG, JPG, or WEBP, then Save current frame.
  4. Or set Every N seconds and select Grab frames to zip.

Formats and limits

  • Opens common video files the picker allows.
  • Single frames save as PNG, JPG, or WEBP. Batch saves a zip of those images named with time stamps.

FAQ

Why is Prev/Next not exact frames?

Browsers seek by time, not frame index. Steps are about one thirtieth of a second. Scrub for a precise moment.
