What Volume Changer and Normalizer does

Volume Changer and Normalizer adjusts gain in decibels or normalizes a track by peak or approximate loudness presets for podcasts and streaming.

The waveform highlights regions that would clip at the current gain. Preview uses the Web Audio API; export applies an ffmpeg volume filter locally.

How to use it

  1. Choose an audio file. The waveform and stats appear.
  2. Pick Manual gain or a normalize / loudness preset.
  3. Play preview to hear the change. Red bars mean clipping.
  4. Choose MP3 or WAV and Apply and export.

FAQ

Are the loudness presets true LUFS?

They target approximate RMS levels suitable for speech and music previews, not a full ITU-R BS.1770 meter.
