What Audio Reverser does

Audio Reverser plays a track backwards. The reversed buffer is built with the Web Audio API for instant preview.

WAV export encodes in the browser. MP3 export uses ffmpeg areverse locally.

How to use it

  1. Choose an audio file. The reversed buffer is built automatically.
  2. Play reversed to preview with Web Audio.
  3. Choose WAV or MP3 and Apply and export.

Formats and limits

  • Opens common audio files the browser can decode.
  • Exports WAV without ffmpeg, or MP3 with ffmpeg.

FAQ

Why does MP3 need ffmpeg?

Browsers do not encode MP3 from raw samples here. WAV is written from the reversed buffer; MP3 uses the local ffmpeg build.
