What HEIC To JPG does

HEIC To JPG converts iPhone HEIC and HEIF photos to JPG, PNG, or WEBP in this tab. Decode uses libheif loaded as a separate WASM file. Multi-image HEIC containers become one output per frame.

How to use it

  1. Select Choose HEIC files and pick one or more .heic or .heif photos.
  2. Pick JPG, PNG, or WEBP. Adjust quality for JPG and WEBP.
  3. Review the converted preview. For batches, click a file name to inspect it.
  4. Select Download converted, or Download zip for many files.

Formats and limits

  • Input: HEIC or HEIF.
  • Output: JPG, PNG, or WEBP, named after the source with -converted (or -frame-N). Batches are a zip.

Settings explained

Output format
JPG for photos, PNG for lossless, WEBP for smaller files with quality control.
Quality
Applies to JPG and WEBP (10-100%). PNG is lossless so quality is ignored.

FAQ

Why is quality grayed out for PNG?

PNG is lossless. Quality only changes JPG and WEBP compression.

What about Live Photo or burst HEIC files?

Containers with more than one image produce one output file per frame.
