What Base64 Encoder and Decoder does

Encode and decode UTF-8 text, files, and data URIs.

How to use it

1. Choose Encode for UTF-8 text to Base64, or Decode for Base64 to UTF-8 or a data URI to a file.
2. Enter text and select Convert, or choose a file to produce a data URI.
3. Review the output and any image preview, then copy or save. Set a file name before saving decoded binary data.

Formats and limits

• UTF-8 text or files up to 32 MB. Data URI decoding preserves the media type, previews images, and saves decoded files.
