What Video Loop does

Video Loop repeats a clip a set number of times or until a target length. When Boomerang is off, ffmpeg stream-copies so there is no re-encode.

Boomerang mode re-encodes a seamless forward then reverse pass (video only). Keep boomerang clips short because reverse buffers frames in memory.

How to use it

  1. Choose a video.
  2. Pick repeat count or target length, or turn on Boomerang.
  3. Select Make loop or Make boomerang, then download.

Formats and limits

  • Opens common video files the picker allows.
  • Loop copy keeps the source container when practical and writes MP4 for awkward types.
  • Boomerang exports H.264 MP4 without audio.

Settings explained

Repeat count / Target length
How many plays, or how long the looped file should run.
Boomerang
Forward then reverse for a back-and-forth loop.

Privacy

Processing stays in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.

FAQ

Will looping re-encode my video?

Not for normal loops. Stream copy is used. Boomerang must re-encode.
