What Subtitle Burner does

Subtitle Burner burns SRT or VTT cues into a video. Style the font, size, colors, outline, background, and position, then preview over the playing clip.

Export draws each cue to an image and composites with ffmpeg (the VID-011 overlay path), so ffmpeg needs no fonts or libass.

How to use it

  1. Choose a video and an SRT or VTT file.
  2. Scrub the preview to check cue timing and styling.
  3. Adjust font, size, colors, outline, background, and position.
  4. Select Burn subtitles, then download the MP4.

Formats and limits

  • Video: common formats the picker allows.
  • Subtitles: SRT and VTT.

FAQ

Does this use the ffmpeg subtitles filter?

This build uses the image overlay path from Video Text and Watermark so results stay consistent without depending on libass in the wasm core.
