What Meme and Text On Image does

Meme and Text On Image adds the same styled text layers as GIF Text Overlay to a still photo: classic meme, caption bar, subtitle, fonts, outline, shadow, and drag to place.

How to use it

  1. Select Choose image and pick a PNG, JPG, or WEBP file.
  2. The classic meme preset loads by default. Switch to Caption bar or Subtitle, or Add text.
  3. Edit the selected layer: text, font, size, color, outline, and more.
  4. Drag boxes on the picture to place and size each layer.
  5. Select Download image with text.

Formats and limits

  • Input: PNG, JPG, or WEBP.
  • Output: PNG named after the source with -text.

Settings explained

Presets
Classic meme places top and bottom Impact-style text. Caption bar adds a white band above the image. Subtitle adds a bottom bar.
Fonts and style
The same bundled fonts as GIF Text Overlay, plus bold, italic, align, outline, shadow, and background box.

Text stays in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.

FAQ

Do animations do anything on a still image?

Animation settings match GIF Text Overlay for parity. On a still image they are evaluated at frame 0, so fade and typewriter usually look like the final frame.
