I grew up in a small town with a pretty simple setup. We moved around between rentals over the years, so I got used to things changing and adjusting as needed.

My mom worked and kept everything going. We didn't have a lot, but we always made it work. That was normal, and it taught me how to adapt early on. I was a quiet kid. I mostly kept to myself and paid attention to things. I liked figuring out how stuff worked, even if I didn't fully understand it yet. Patterns, systems, anything that made sense.

Games were a big part of that. It wasn't just about playing them. It was the structure. You knew what to do, you knew how to move forward, and if you put time into it, you got something back. That made sense to me in a way real life didn't always.

Over time, that turned into more than just playing. I started thinking about how things were built. Not just games, but anything with some kind of system behind it.

Looking back, that's really where everything started.
